Waffles is Goofy and Max's cat on Goof Troop. A running gag involves Waffles tormenting Chainsaw, Pete's dog, and he usually ends up chasing him. As neighbors, the two pets hardly get along, though each has discovered they have much in common. As the story from the November 1995 issue of "Disney Adventures Magazine" shows that, in "Goof Troop: The Adventures of Waffles and Chainsaw", they both are terrorized by their living conditions. Frank Welker provided his vocal effects.

- He is absent in "A Goofy Movie", though it's possible that he passed away due to it taking place 3 years after the events of the series.
- In "Great Egg-Spectations", Max says Waffles is Goofy's cat, as opposed to Goofy saying he is Max's cat in "Cat's Entertainment".
- In other episodes, he is referred to as a girl, even though canonically, he is a boy cat.
