Bonkers finds Lucky's shoe

Bonkers thinks Lucky died in the explosion upon seeing Lucky's shoe land in front of him.

"New Partners on the Block" is the thirty-second episode of Bonkers. It is notably the last of the Lucky Piquel episodes in production order, and as such, is chronologically the last episode featuring Lucky as Bonkers' partner, with Miranda Wright becoming Bonkers' new partner at the end of the episode, thus bridging the gap between the two different sets of Bonkers episodes.

Synopsis[]

Lucky tries go on a case for Fireball Frank solo, and is seemingly killed, but is actually captured with FBI Agent Talson by Frank. Together, Officer Miranda and Bonkers rescue the two and arrest Frank. Afterward, Bonkers' partnership with Piquel is switched with Miranda.

Trivia[]

  • This episode was removed from rotation in the United States after the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing due to its bombing/terrorism plot, and was consequently never rerun on Toon Disney, even before Disney's stricter censorship policies following September 11, 2001. Another episode, "Fall Apart Bomb Squad," was also not shown on Toon Disney for similar reasons. However, both episodes have been rerun in Europe (especially in Italy), and are now available on Disney+.
