Drake Mallard, better known as Darkwing Duck, is the resident superhero of St. Canard. He is a crime-fighting anthropomorphic duck who, in his secret identity, lives in an unassuming suburban house with his adopted daughter Gosalyn. He possesses a mix of courageous altruism and a gigantic arrogance and ego, two drives that constantly clash during his adventures. Due to his ego, Darkwing can initially be mistaken for a bumbling superhero. However, when pushed, as symbolized by the utterance of his catchphrase, "Let's get dangerous," he can become very competent, proving his skill.
Personality[]
As a superhero, Darkwing loves to make a dramatic entrance, saying, "I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the (something) that (does something)! I am Darkwing Duck!".
