A recurring gag in the Darkwing Duck comic books published by Boom! Studios and Joe Books was the inclusion of cameos by characters from other Disney productions. Listed here are the numerous Disney-related cameos seen in the comic, including cameos/references to characters from the Disney-acquired properties of the Muppets, Marvel Comics, and Lucasfilms.

Magica02 "Crisis on Infinite Darkwings - Part 3" (Issue #7) The Source Absorber has the face of Jack Skellington and Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas on it.
Magic-powered Magica (Darkwing Duck) "Crisis on Infinite Darkwings - Part 3" (Issue #7) Magica's armor and staff is decorated with little golden skulls that resemble Jafar, Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, and Maleficent.
Paddywhack02 "Crisis on Infinite Darkwings - Part 3" (Issue #7) Paddywhack's return frightens Sebastian, Cleo from Pinocchio, and Dory from Finding Nemo.
DarkWing-Lion King "Crisis on Infinite Darkwings - Part 4" (Issue #8) On the first page, Quiverwing Duck manages to catch alternate Darkwings who resemble Simba (who is accompanied by versions of Morgana and Launchpad who resemble Timon and Pumbaa) and the Jonas Brothers.
Interrogating Megavolt "Crisis on Infinite Darkwings - Part 4" (Issue #8) In the first panel, Foulfellow from Pinocchio, the Big Bad Wolf from Three Little Pigs, and a weasel from Who Framed Roger Rabbit can be seen locked up in the background.
Darkwings Assemble "Crisis on Infinite Darkwings - Part 4" (Issue #8) Among the alternate Darkwings seen in this panel includes ones resembling Roger Rabbit from Who Framed Roger Rabbit (complete with the Singing Sword that was briefly used in the movie) and Mr. Incredible.

Crocodile "F.O.W.L. Disposition - Part 2" (Issue #10) Despite Steelbeak referring to this weapon as an "alligator briefcase", the reptiles that pops out is Tick-Tock the Crocodile.
Duckthulhu Moby "F.O.W.L. Disposition - Part 3" (Issue #11) Moby Duck is one of the brainwashed citizens.
Duckthulhu shrine "F.O.W.L. Disposition - Part 3" (Issue #11) Duckthulhu's shrine is decorated with images of Elliot from Pete's Dragon, Dragon Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, and the Reluctant Dragon.
Guard against Duckthulhu "F.O.W.L. Disposition - Part 4" (Issue #12) The March Hare from Alice in Wonderland is among the brainwashed people surrounding Darkwing and company.
Sitcom reality (Darkwing Duck) "F.O.W.L. Disposition - Part 4" (Issue #12) Mrs. Potts and Chip from Beauty and the Beast appear on the sitcom set.
Lucky (Darkwing Duck) "Done in One" (Issue #13) Lucky from 101 Dalmatians landed in the catcher's mitt.
Gosalyn 1 "Cat-tastrophe" (Issue #14), original version In Mortimer's flashback, we see that PJ, Max, and Pistol are among his and Gosalyn's classmates.

Note: This cameo is seen only in the original version of the story; due to Mortimer's backstory being rewritten in the Definitively Dangerous Edition reprint, it was replaced with the next one.

Sid and Lampwick Darkwing Duck "Cat-tastrophe" (Issue #14), revised version In the revised version of Mortimer's backstory, we see that he was tormented by anthropomorphic animal versions of Sid Phillips from Toy Story and Lampwick (in his donkey form) from Pinocchio.
Darkwing-duck-15-page-1 "The Ballot of Darkwing Duck and Launchpad, Part 1" (Issue #15) Eagle Eye has frozen Tito from Oliver and Company.
Toby Darkwing Duck "The Ballot of Darkwing Duck and Launchpad, Part 1" (Issue #15) Toby from The Great Mouse Detective tries to support Darkwing's mayoral campaign.
Suffrage's power (Darkwing Duck) "The Ballot of Darkwing Duck and Launchpad, Part 1" (Issue #15) The stork from Dumbo is working as a janitor.
Suffrage undone (Darkwing Duck) "The Ballot of Darkwing Duck and Launchpad, Part 2" (Issue #16) Sunni Gummi and Maggie from Home on the Range are among the St. Canard citizens seen snapping out of Suff-Rage's hypnosis.
Duck Monsters "Dangerous Currency - Part 2" (Issue #17) Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Honker's monstrous forms respectively resemble Chernabog from Fantasia, Monstro the Whale from Pinocchio, Dragon Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, and Willie the Giant from Mickey and the Beanstalk.
Yo Yo Flamingo and Shmebulock in Darkwing comic "A Midsummer Gnat's Spree" (Issue #4) The Muddlefoots' lawn decorations include plastic flamingos resembling the ones from Fantasia 2000 and a lawn gnome resembling Shmebulock from Gravity Falls.
Fidget in the Darkwing Duck comic "A Midsummer Gnat's Spree" (Issue #4) In Gnatmare's backstory, he is shown shining the shoes of a mobster who resembles Fidget from The Great Mouse Detective.
