Bonkers is a video game based on the Disney animated TV series of the same name. The game was developed by Capcom for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994.

Plot Edit

Three of Toontown's most precious treasures, the Sorcerer's Hat (fromFantasia), the Mermaid's Voice (The Little Mermaid), and the Magic Lamp (Aladdin), are stolen. After a car accident Lucky Piquel is hospitalized and as such, Bonkers D. Bobcat has to resolve this case alone.

After traveling trough places like Wackytoon Studios and the city of Hollywood and facing old enemies like The Collector and Pops Clock, Bonkers manages to recover all the treasures thus concluding the game.

Gameplay Edit

The game consists on six levels: a mansion, Wackytoon Studios, the downtown of Hollywood, a ship in the docks, the Collector's hideout (Underground) and Pops Clock's tower (Toon World).

Bonkers can jump, throw bombs and use a dash attack. While dashing pressing the down button will make Bonkers roll like a ball.

Each level (with exception of the final level) consist on two segments, with a boss at the end of the level.

Reception Edit

Although the game didn't got many reviews, Bonkers for the Super Nintendo was overall recived well, having a score of 7.4 out of 10 at IGN by the comunity.

Trivia Edit

  • This is the only Bonkers videogame to not be released in Europe.
