"Blue Collar Scrooge" is the eighty-sixth episode of DuckTales.
Synopsis[]
Scrooge gets amnesia and gets a job at one of his own factories. There, he is outraged by the working conditions at McDuck Industries and convinces the workers to go on strike.
Notes[]
- This episode seems to take place before "My Mother the Psychic" and "The Big Flub", because Mrs. Crackshell does not recognize Scrooge in this episode.
- The scene where Scrooge and Mrs. Crackshell accidentally kiss while sharing a pizza is a nod to the famous spaghetti dinner scene in Lady and the Tramp.
- The nephews helping Fenton pull off imitating Scrooge's accent is a reference to My Fair Lady.
Memorable quotes[]
"I wanna sue for a jillion dollars! I wanna put people in jail for a million years, as sure as my name is... as sure as my name is... my name is... What is my name? Who am I? And why am I talking with this funny accent?" |
Scrooge: I'd like three Scrooge Burgers, please. Cashier: That'll be fifteen dollars. Scrooge: Outrageous! I wanna buy hamburgers, not put McDuck's kids through college! |
Louie: Let's split up and search for him! Fenton: Good idea! Boys, you search high and low. Mrs. Beakley, you search far and wide, and I'll search here and there. |
